Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese marked the 30th anniversary of the work of the Caritas house "Blessed Alojzije Stepinac" in Brezovica, where children and youth with developmental disabilities and adults with disabilities are accommodated. On that occasion, in the presence of numerous guests, Archbishop Dražen Kutleša of Zagreb led the Eucharistic celebration, which was followed by a playful and joyful program by the users of the home.
The "Blessed Alojzije Stepinac" House was opened by Cardinal Franjo Kuharić, and over the past 30 years, children and mothers of war victims, children without adequate parental care, children and youth with developmental disabilities, and adults with disabilities have stayed there. This anniversary is celebrated under the motto "Light on the path of life". DOBRI DOM has been cooperating very closely with Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese for many years, preparing hot meals for users of organized housing with comprehensive support for children without adequate parental care (Zagreb, Selska 165). On the other hand, Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese continuously donates food products for the users of social services provided daily by DOBRI DOM. The ceremony was attended by the director of the institution, Alen Župan, at the invitation of the director of Caritas, Sr. Jelena Lončar.
Heartfelt congratulations to all the hardworking and dear people of Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese on this important anniversary.
