On October 15 and 16, 2024, a conference titled "Models of Social Inclusion and Employment Activation for Hard-to-Employ Citizen Groups" was held at the Almeria Center. Organized by the City Office for Social Welfare, Health, War Veterans, and Persons with Disabilities in recognition of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and Social Exclusion, the conference aimed to address the challenges and solutions surrounding social inclusion and workforce engagement for citizens who face difficulties finding employment.

In order to learn from successful practices and engage in professional education, social worker Suzana Rožić attended the conference on behalf of the “Good Home” Institution of the City of Zagreb.
