ANNUAL AWARD #HEROSOCIALIZER FOR SPECIAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIALIZATION PROGRAM OF ASSISTING DOGS

The Silver Rehabilitation Center held a ceremony to present the annual "Tatjana Krajač" award for the most successful hero socializer of assistance dogs. The work of the Silver Rehabilitation Center is supported by hundreds of volunteers who participate in the implementation of various activities with their valuable work, especially in the socialization program of future assistance dogs and therapy dogs as #herosocializers.
This year's best socializer is Damir Gregurić. In addition to being a socializer of four dogs, he also helps look after others whenever needed. He also has Silver's breeding dog. He often organizes informal gatherings with other volunteers
The award ceremony is an opportunity to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who help achieve the mission of the Silver Center.

Tatjana Krajač was one of them – a #herosocializer, but also a journalist and reporter who intensively promoted the importance of service dogs in the lives of children with developmental disabilities and people with disabilities, publicly advocated for the rights of service dog users and promoted the values of volunteering.

The award ceremony in front of DOBRI DOM, a partner institution of the Silver Center, was attended by principal Alen Župan.

The Silver Rehabilitation Center, as a unique social welfare institution in this part of Europe, stands out with its innovative approach to the rehabilitation of people with disabilities and children with developmental disabilities. The goal is to enable users to integrate into the local community as well as possible, encouraging their independence and empowering them for everyday life.
