DOBRI DOM FOR MARKING MAY 1, Labor Day

This year, Dobri dom, as well as many others, participated in the celebration of May 1st, the International Labour Day. Traditionally, the celebration was in the Zagreb park Maksimir. Dobri dom has prepared and distributed 60,000 servings of sausage and dried meat as well as 55,000 baked products.

The distribution of bean stew went well despite bad weather that failed to disperse our fellow citizens.

Dobri dom made sure that the stands, fences, tents for contractors, cutlery, PVC cups, napkins, disposable gloves, caps, corners, were to the standards of how the bean stew should be divided, since it was a division on a public area.

This year's celebration of Labour Day in Maksimir organized by the City of Zagreb cost HRK 987,000.00, which is HRK 5,000.00 less than last year.

"5,500 kilos of beans, 4,000 kilos of sausages, 2,300 kilograms of pancetta, 1,100 kilograms of dried salami go into the recipe" revealed the secret of a good bean stew recipe by the head of the Social Welfare Office, Mrs. Višnja Fortuna ... "made according to the mayor's recipe."

This way, Dobi dom institution would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's traditional distribution our motto.
