Mutual Learning event on ‘Strengthening social services in Central Eastern European cities: securing funding, improving accessibility, and fostering cooperation’

The Institution’s social worker participated in the two-day event Mutual Learning Event on “Strengthening social services in Central Eastern European cities: securing funding, improving accessibility, and fostering cooperation”, organized by Eurocities and the City of Zagreb, which was held in Zagreb on 25 and 26 November 2025 at the Maksimir Centre for Culture and Information, Lavoslav Švarc Street 18.

Both days were marked by active participation in knowledge exchange with representatives of other Central and Eastern European cities. In the context of organizing the event, the Institution “Dobri dom” of the City of Zagreb organized a visit to the public dining hall “Branimirova” for conference participants on 26 November 2025, including a presentation on the functioning of the dining hall as well as other social services provided by the Institution.

We feel honored to have had the opportunity to take part in such an important and significant event for the City of Zagreb, and we hope that the knowledge gained and the exchange of experiences will have a positive impact on the provision and further development of social services within our local community.
