Professional Conference “Responding to Risks within the Family” held on the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

On the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and Social Exclusion, a professional conference titled “Responding to Risks within the Family” was held on October 17, 2025, at the Zagreb Innovation Centre – ZICER, organized by the City of Zagreb.

The conference brought together experts and representatives from various sectors with the aim of opening a discussion on key risks affecting contemporary families in the Republic of Croatia and the City of Zagreb — from poverty and social exclusion to other forms of social and economic insecurity.

During the conference, emphasis was placed on intersectoral cooperation as a key prerequisite for an effective response to identified risks. The discussions focused on specific measures and policies implemented by the state and local community, as well as on the importance of connecting all social stakeholders.

Representing the “Dobri dom” Institution of the City of Zagreb, the Director and a Social Worker attended the professional conference.
