Shelter users visit the Maksimir center for culture and information

On 16 December 2025, in cooperation with the Maksimir center for culture and information, users of the Shelter of the Institution Dobri dom of the City of Zagreb attended a screening of the film “Under a Lucky Star”. The users were accompanied by social workers from the Institution.

The film screening took place at the premises of the Maksimir center for culture and information and was preceded by a social gathering with a light reception organized by the Director of the Institution, Mr. Goran Komerički. On this occasion, the users also received Christmas gifts, which brought them great joy.

The inclusion of homeless people is of great importance. By actively involving homeless individuals in the community, social isolation and feelings of exclusion are reduced. A society that includes its most vulnerable members is more compassionate, safer, and more sustainable in the long term.
